A new point of departure

We are a group of highly trained professionals who research, conceive, and implement educational programs specifically designed to innovate the way we teach. Our team consists of members of several committees and international organizations, as well as university professors in Uruguay and abroad.

The resources we design and extend on to the schools are of optimum quality; we take care of every detail in their elaboration, we select suitable materials and specialized suppliers and we carry out impact evaluations once the projects enter the implementation phase.

We have the institutional support of CODICEN/ANEP to work in schools, of ANII to research, and the alliance with CEIBAL and Fundación CEIBAL assures us the provision of technologies in education and to reflect on its use. We also rely on the continuous exchange with Dirección Nacional para la Educación Rural and the renewed endorsement of the Inspecciones Departamentales’ inspective staff and local actors in all the Departments where we operate.

Purpose

We work to ensure that living in the countryside is not a disadvantage for children and rural teachers, but rather the value from which their full potential is built.

Misión

Mission Statement

Our mission is to develop the capabilities of those who teach and those who learn through the design, research, and implementation of new teaching methodologies, which we put into practice through innovative and effective projects.

Propósito

Vision

Edúcate aspires to an equitable society where, through equal access to education and technology, everyone can contribute and participate in the economic and social development of the country.

We believe in the democratization of opportunities and human capital as the necessary instrument
to transform Uruguay into a prosperous society in which everyone can integrate and improve their quality of life.
