Technologies for learning to read and consolidating the reading habit
Why do new generations still prefer to read on paper? Different studies point to ergonomic and cognitive reasons, but it is considered that the lack of teaching strategies to choose or combine formats based on a precise pedagogical objective, understood and shared with the child, is above all influential.
This project will analyze what makes the difference between the physical and digital book based on how we learn. To do this, the practice is related to existing research on how learning is done to design learning environments that manage to develop positive behaviors in the child and perfect reading skills, regardless of the format chosen. We will seek to analyze, in an action research approach, whether the format preference varies when teaching strategies are designed to intentionally generate habit, motivation and autonomy through a comprehensive analogue/digital ecosystem.
